Do you need insurance for an NHS/PCT Contract
tender?
A recent development in the provision of primary care services
is for PCTs to invite tenders for the delivery of Alternative
Provider Medical Services (APMS). We have seen a number of our
current clients forming various legal entities in order to compete
for these tenders along with other businesses. The tender process
is rigorous and involves a proof of insurance requirement.
The insurance that the PCT requires you to have in place is
quite different from that which applies to a standard GP surgery.
The levels of cover are higher and the parties to be covered are
wider and all of this is specified in a document known as
Schedule 9.
At Towergate MIA, we can provide you with the cover needed to
comply with Schedule 9 and have already helped a number of clients
to make their insurance arrangements after completing a successful
tender process.
