	Motor Insurance for Emergency Medical Response Drivers

Towergate MIA have launched motor and personal accident insurance policies to cover accredited medical response drivers.

The policies have been specifically designed to aid doctors, nurses and paramedics responding to emergency situations under blue or green light cover. The policy has been written in association with BASICS and is only available to drivers with Emergency Driving Accreditation.

Also, Towergate MIA will provide a £25 donation to the BASICS charity for every Motor or Home insurance policy taken out by a BASICS member, or their friends and family. Please remember to quote BASICS when you contact us.

Emergency Response Motor Policy - Key Features

‘Blue or Green light’ cover for attending emergency situations/incidents
Full cover from call out to stand down
Full cover if your vehicle is being returned to you by a licensed driver employee of the emergency services after you have attended an incident
Cover for up to £1,500 of expenses per year resulting from lost keys (through Boomerang Tag protection)
Automatic cover for public events
Optional cover for up to £10,000 of specialist equipment whilst carried in your vehicle

Personal Accident Policy

A bespoke scheme to cover either individuals or groups of BASICS members attending emergency situations/incidents
Choices of Limits of indemnity and Benefits to BASICS member Doctors, Nurses and Paramedics
The facility to cover Doctors, Nurses, and Paramedics involved in Sea Rescues
Full Theft cover for your medical Medical Equipment even when your vehicle is unattended whilst you are at the scene of an incident
Medical Equipment is subject to the low excess of only £50.00
