Dentist brings smile with £1,000 gift for Acorns
Bromsgrove dentist Hugh Revill brought a smile to Acorns when he
chose to support the hospice with a £1,000 gift.

The money came from a competition organized for customers by
Towergate MIA, insurance specialists for medical and caring
professionals. As well as prizes including hospitality tickets to
the Grand National or £1,000 worth of electrical goods, they
matched the prize in value to give to a charity of the winner’s
choice.
Winner Mr Revill, of College Road Dental Practice, nominated
Acorns to benefit from the company’s matching £1,000 donation.

Carole Crowe, Fundraising Manager for Acorns in the Three
Counties, said: “Acorns cares for 160 local children with life
limiting or life threatening conditions in the Three Counties area.
We are delighted to receive this great prize, and would like to
thank Mr Revill for his kindness in nominating Acorns.
“There is no charge to families for using the services but it
does cost £750 per day for each child’s care, so the donation is
much appreciated.”

Towergate MD, Keith Longthorne added: “It’s a pleasure to help
Acorns with their work; Towergate MIA is very pleased to make this
donation.”
