What to do if you need to make a claim
- As soon as possible, give us a call on 01438 739
731 for immediate advice
- Download and complete the claim form, get
estimates for repairs where possible and return these to us
- If your claim is under £500 we can authorise it over the phone,
with no need to fill in any forms
- We will then authorise repairs or pay you the value of your
claim
It may be necessary for us to appoint a specialist surveyor, in
which case the costs will be met by your insurer.
Case study
Dr S recently lost his spectacles during a trip to London. On
his return he gave us a call to let us know. Because his spectacles
were worth around £200 we authorized the claim over the phone so Dr
S did not need to waste any time filling in a claim form. Dr S
bought his new spectacles later that day and a couple of days later
received our settlement cheque.
